The Sea to Summit to Sea Challenge

Across the Isle of Man

Join Ken from Walking.im for a charity walk across the Island on Monday 31 May 2021 (late May bank holiday). The 14-mile route goes from Kirk Michael Beach to Laxey Beach via Snaefell and will include plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the magnificent views!

This walk was originally due to take place on Good Friday, but the Covid lockdown in place on the Island meant that it had to be rescheduled for the 3 May (early May bank holiday). However, the unseasonably poor (even for the Isle of Man) weather means it's been rescheduled again for 31 May. Ken's keeping 'Good Friday' in the name of the walk, though, because it's quirky and a good reflection of the unusual times we're all in at the moment.

The walk will be free for participants but Ken's asking everyone to make any size donation to Cruse IOM. We've set up a JustGiving page that people can donate on, or why not go one better and gain sponsorship from all your family and friends for completing this brilliant challenge.

The walk will not be a race but an enjoyable day's walking across the Island - we start together and will all finish together.

Walking.im and the team will support everyone throughout the walk but we ask that you're confident of walking this distance and are prepared for all weather conditions and a couple of steep climbs but quite manageable with encouragement and taking our time!!

Places are limited to 24. To reserve your space please contact Ken on 07624 240430 or email Ken@walking.im.
