Go Bright for Cruse 2020

On Friday 4 December 2020, we’re holding an island-wide dress-down day to raise funds for Cruse Bereavement Care Isle of Man.

Who can join in?

Absolutely anyone! We welcome companies to colleges, schools to social groups, friends to families, homeschooling groups to hobbyists - everyone and anyone is welcome to Go Bright for Cruse - including pets!

When do I join in?

Go Bright for Cruse will be taking place on Friday 4 December 2020, if this works for you, but you can hold it any day that suits you and the people you’re taking part with. It’s the taking part that counts!

What do I need to do?

On Friday 4 December 2020, we’re holding an island-wide dress-down day to raise valuable funds for Cruse Bereavement Care Isle of Man.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to take part.

  1. Advertise the event around your organisation.
  2. Share any photos you have on social media and tag us too, or email us your photos and we'll put them on our Facebook and Instagram pages and tag you in them.
  3. Let us know how much you’ve raised so we can send you a thank you e-certificate for your support.

How much does it cost to take part?

There's no fee for taking part — all we ask is that each person taking part makes a small donation towards Cruse Bereavement Care Isle of Man. We’ll send your team an e-certificate to say thank you for taking part, and do a shoutout on our social media for you too, so make sure you follow us on Facebook.

If you'd like to make a donation, you can do so on our JustGiving page, but we'll also happily accept donations by any other means. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Why are we doing this?

It's National Grief Awareness Week from 2–8 December. Driven by The Good Grief Trust, this week-long event aims to try to normalise grief and get people talking about this typically uncomfortable subject on a national platform.

Every penny raised will stay on the island to help us continue to offer these valuable services to anyone in our community who needs us.

Get in touch today and join us to Go Bright for Cruse!
