Covid-19: changes to our service

SERVICE UPDATE: 2 March 2021

Following the announcement of a 21-day circuit break lockdown beginning on Wednesday 3 March 2021, we have closed our office and are unable to provide face-to-face-support sessions until further notice. All support sessions for new and existing clients will be held either by telephone or online face-to-face until the lockdown period has ended. This includes support for children, young people, and adults. For all existing clients, your bereavement support volunteer will be contacting you to arrange support during the lockdown period. 

 

What services do we provide during lockdown?

 

For adults

  • Telephone support sessions
  • Online face-to-face support sessions
  • Information about many aspects of bereavement and other sources of help and support
  • Online bereavement awareness training

 

For children and young people

  • Telephone support sessions
  • Online face-to-face support sessions
  • Online face-to-face CruzKids group sessions
  • Information and advice about many aspects of bereavement and other sources of help and support
  • Online training for people working with bereaved children and young people

If you are bereaved, we can support no matter whenever or however the death occurred 

We provide advice, information and support to anyone that have been bereaved no matter whenever or however the death occurred.  You may find that during isolation you, the death of a loved one is now amplified, especially if you are self-isolating.  It may be that you rely on support from others while dealing with bereavement–whether that’s family, friends, being at work–and you are struggling being on your own then please contact us on 668191 or This email address is being protected from spambots. Cruse Bereavement Care has a lot of resources to help people dealing with grief and bereavement during the Covid-19 pandemic.
