JTC nominates Cruse for 2023

We’re delighted to be nominated by global professional services firm JTC as the Isle of Man JTC Impacts charity of choice for 2023. The Isle of Man team has already held several events to raise awareness and funds for Cruse. These include three of their staff, Charlotte Corlett walking the Parish Walk to Bride, Kerry Jones, Carol Joyce and her daughter, Lily swimming in the Big Swim for Cruse plus Peter Robertson, taking part in the Lighthouses Challenge. In addition to these challenging events, employees have held dress down days plus an Easter-themed bake off.

Their events have raised just under £2,700 so far with future fundraisers planned. The company had also previously donated £4,000 to the charity as part of the JTC Impacts programme that enables each office to select and support a charity of its choice that aligns with one of three key areas - Knowledge, Sustainability and Wellbeing. The programme is centred around encouraging and supporting employees to have a meaningful, positive and lasting contribution in the communities where JTC operates.

Our Chief Executive Mary Doyle commented: “From the moment we met Aidan and the team at JTC, when they marked their recent fifth anniversary on the Island, we knew they would be great fun to work with. Their approach as a values-based company is to get involved and be that difference. We are delighted to have been nominated and are in awe of all the events so far, as they have challenged themselves and continue to do so for Cruse. They are interested and supportive, knowing the difference we make to our clients. I would like to thank them on behalf of our charity for their ongoing support.”
