30th April 2017, 4pm, Kirk Braddan
Cruse and Kirk Braddan will once more be holding A Light in Our Life on 30th April 2017, at Kirk Braddan.
A Light in Our Life is a non-religious memorial service for anyone who has experienced the tragic death of a child at any stage in life - from miscarriage, stillbirth, and any age after birth.
The service, which begins at 4pm, will include music, poetry, lighting candles in memory, times for silence and reflection, and the opportunity to include a child's name in a Book of Memories.
We will also hear the names of children being read aloud. This is often done in memorial services as a recognition of a person's life. Hearing a name read aloud has been found to sometimes help those who may have been unable to name a younger child, but find they can now.
All are welcome to this occasion. If you wish to have a child's name read in rememberance and celebration of their life (last names do not need to be included) please send details before 21st April to:
